Marina Luísa Silva
Screenwriter and Producer
Marina Luísa Silva, screenwriter and casting researcher, has a degree in Social Communication from PUC-Rio and a postgraduate degree in Digital Strategies from IBMEC Rio. Selected for the 2nd edition of the Netflix Creative Collaboratory (2021) and for the Franco-Brazilian Screenwriting Lab at the Varilux French Film Festival (2022), she was also the winner of the Cabíria Award (2019) in the children's screenplay category, a finalist for the Diadorim Award (2019), and took part in the 2nd Black Narratives Laboratory at FLUP (2018) and the 1st Black Authors Workshop at Globo (2018). She was a guest curator at FRAPA (2022) in the Series Pilot category and in the Children's Screenplay category at the Cabíria Festival (2021).
In recent years, she has worked as a scriptwriter on fiction series, including: “Pedaço de Mim” (2024, Netflix) the 2nd and 3rd seasons of "Rensga Hits" (2023, Globoplay) and "Mania de Você", a soap opera to be launched by Globo.
Among the variety projects she has directed are: "Encontro com Fátima Bernardes" (2016, Globo), "Que história é essa, Porchat?" (2019, GNT/Porta dos Fundos), "Por um Respiro" (2020, Globoplay / Ocean Films) and "Queer Eye Brasil" (2022, Floresta / Netflix).
She has also collaborated in the development of fiction projects for players such as Amazon and Netflix in collaboration with the production companies Conspiração Filmes, A Fábrica, Floresta Produções, Maria Farinha Filmes, Movioca, Café Royal, Primo Filmes, among others.
