Anne Pinheiro Guimarães
Director, Screenwriter and Writer
Anne Pinheiro Guimarães is a director, screenwriter and writer. With a master's degree in History from the Sorbonne in France, she then began her studies in the seventh art, focusing on film directing and screenwriting. Back in Brazil, she began her career in the national industry.
Her first short film, "Desejo" (2006), starring Wagner Moura and Lázaro Ramos, was shown at important national and international festivals, gaining recognition and being a finalist in the AXN Latin America award.
In series, she directed some episodes of "As Canalhas" (2015, GNT); was the creator, writer and director of the series "Desnude" (2018, GNT); general director of "Nós" (2020, Canal Brasil) and directed "Desjuntados" (2021, Amazon).
Her first feature as screenwriter and co-director, with Carolina Jabor, "Transe", was released in 2024.
