"Allan Deberton is a director, producer, and screenwriter with a degree in Film from UFF. His short films have screened at more than 150 national and international festivals, winning 76 awards. He co-produced the TV series “Lana & Carol” and the feature documentary “Do Outro Lado do Atlântico”.

In 2019, “Pacarrete”, his first feature as a director, had its world premiere at the 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Golden Goblet Awards. The film went on to play major national and international festivals and, in Brazil, was the big winner at the 47th Gramado Film Festival, taking home 8 Kikitos. It is currently available on Netflix. In 2021, he produced the feature documentary “Transversais”, which premiered at OutFest Fusion Los Angeles. He wrote and directed episodes of Disney+’s upcoming series “Uma Garota Comum”.

In 2025, he released “O Melhor Amigo”, a co-production with Telecine, distributed by Vitrine Filmes, which screened at festivals including MixBrasil, Inside Out Toronto, and the Biarritz Film Festival, among others.

In 2026, his new film “Feito Pipa”, a co-production by Deberton Filmes, Biônica Filmes, and Warner Bros., distributed by Paris Filmes, was the overall winner in the Generation section at the Berlin Film Festival, receiving the Crystal Bear and the Grand Jury Prize, and was nominated for the 40th Teddy Awards. He is currently preparing to shoot his next project, “A Adoção”, a co-production by Deberton Filmes and Paramount Pictures. Deberton is a member of the Independent Producers Association, the Brazilian Film Academy, and also part of Projeto Paradiso’s Talent Network."
