Alexandre Borges is one of the greatest Brazilian actors. He was part of the Theater Research Center (CPT), led by Antunes Filho, and was a member of the Boi Voador group, responsible for the production of 'Velhos Marinheiros'. He spent eight years with the group until his participation in the unaired pilot of a new project by Daniel Filho, the series 'Confissões de Adolescente'.

He made his TV debut as the lead in the soap opera 'Guerra sem Fim' (1993), on the now-defunct Rede Manchete. The following year, he joined Rede Globo and since then he has been part of more than 30 productions, including 'Engraçadinha: Seus Amores e Seus Pecados' (1995), 'Pecado Capital' (1998), 'Laços de Família' (2000), 'Celebridade' (2003), 'Caminho das Índias' (2009), 'Avenida Brasil' (2012), 'Verão 90' (2019), and many more.

In cinema, the actor is in the upcoming film 'Terapia da Vingança' by Marcos Bernstein, and he has also appeared in the films 'Predestinado – Arigó e o Espírito do Dr. Fritz' (directed by Gustavo Fernández, to be released), 'Bem Casados' (directed by Aluizio Abranches, 2016), 'Getúlio' (directed by João Jardim, 2014), 'Meus dois amores' (directed by Luiz Henrique Rios, 2013), 'Plastic City' (directed by Nelson Yu Lik-wai, 2010), 'Bela Noite Para Voar' (directed by Zelito Viana, 2009), 'Adagio Sostenuto' (directed by Pompeu Aguiar, 2008), and 'Zuzu Angel' (directed by Sergio Rezende, 2006).

In theater, he directed the plays 'Uma Pilha de Pratos' (2014) and 'Eclipse' (2008), and was also part of the cast of plays such as 'Eu te Amo' (directed by Rosane Svartman and Lírio Ferreira, 2011) and 'Dois Perdidos Numa Noite Suja' (directed by Tanah Correa, 2002), among others.
