In 2021, she took over as director of SPCine, the distributor for the city of São Paulo.
In addition to her work at the institutions, Viviane is constantly involved in new creative projects. She directed "O dia de Jerusa" (Jerusa's Day) (2014), a short film that was selected for the Cannes Film Festival's short film showcase. Both films feature the talented actress Lea Garcia in the lead role. Viviane's works deal with the journey of a family of African descent, marked by challenges such as exclusion, racism and social inequality, but they also praise the affection and resistance that characterize this trajectory.
