Thainá Duarte is a Brazilian actress born in São Paulo. She began her career in film, making her feature debut in “Mundo Cão” (2016), directed by Marcos Jorge, which earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at Festival do Rio. She traveled to Ireland to shoot the pilot of the series “Dawn” (MGM), directed by Robert Stromberg, who won the Academy Award in 2009 and 2010 as an Art Director. The actress also spent a season in Rio de Janeiro to attend “Trupe em Cena” and to take part in the telenovela “I Love Paraisópolis”, both Globo projects.

She has appeared in the series “Maria e o Cangaço” (2025, Disney+), “Cangaço Novo” (2022, Prime), “Aruanas” (2019–21, Globoplay), “3%” (2018–19, Netflix), and “Se Eu Fechar os Olhos Agora” (2018, Globoplay). She has been building her career by fully committing to her roles and bringing her training and lived experience into her performances, always open to dialogue. Her latest project is the feature film “Barba Ensopada de Sangue” (2026), directed by Aly Muritiba.
