Rodrigo Van Der Put is a director with a degree from Miami International University of Arts and Design and a specialization in Editing from New York University. Winner of the 2019 Emmy International Awards for Best Comedy for the Christmas Special "Se beber não ceie" by Porta dos Fundos.

With extensive experience in advertising, he has directed more than 200 commercials for brands such as Coca-Cola, Google, Oi, Tim, MTV, Rede Globo, SC Johnson, Stihl, among others. In 2016, he founded the production company Epidemia Filmes to serve the music market. His music videos already have around 500 million views on YouTube.

He became director of Porta dos Fundos in 2017. In addition to sketches, he has directed special programs such as the short "A Guiana Sumiu" and the Specials: "Se beber, não ceie", "A primeira tentação de Cristo", for Netflix, "Teocracia em Vertigem", released directly on Youtube and "Te Prego lá Fora" for Paramount+. In 2021 he directed the channel's first reality show, "Futuro Ex- Porta" for Youtube Originals.

He directed the feature films, "Detetive Madeinusa" (Amazon, 2021), "Juntos e Enrolados" for Imagem/GloboFilmes (2022), in partnership with Duda Vaisman, "Dois É Demais Em Orlando" (to be released in March this year) and "Vidente Por Acidente" (to be released in April this year).

On TV and streaming, he also directed the series "Alucinadas", "Aí Eu Ví Vantagem" and "Experimente" for Multishow. He co-directed the series "Eleita" (2022), for Amazon Prime, with Carolina Jabor, and "A Magia de Aruna", the first Brazilian fantasy series for Disney+ (2023). He also directed the series "Cosme e Damião - Quase Santos", to be released in 2024 by Globoplay.

He is currently developing his next feature, in partnership with Duda Vaisman, the film adaptation of "O Diário de Pilar na Amazônia", written by Flávia Lins e Silva.
