He was a founder and lead vocalist of the band Titãs, one of Brazil’s biggest rock groups, since 1982.
He made his film debut in 'O Invasor' (2001, Dir. Beto Brant), earning critical acclaim for his role as Anísio. He went on to appear in films such as 'É Proibido Fumar' (2009), 'Como É Cruel Viver Assim' (2017), and 'O Homem Cordial' (2019). In 2024, he played Adoniran Barbosa in the film 'Saudosa Maloca'. A new film has now been released on the festival circuit, ‘Assalto à Brasileira’.
On television, he has appeared in several telenovelas and series: 'Bang Bang' (2005), 'Sob Pressão' (2017), 'Assédio' (2018), 'Manhãs de Setembro' (2021), and 'Últimas Férias' (2023).
His theater debut as an actor was in 2016, with the production Chet Baker – Apenas um Sopro.
He is considered one of Brazil’s most versatile artists, moving fluidly between music, film, and television. He has received awards and nominations at film festivals, especially for his performance in 'O Invasor'. He maintains the image of a restless, creative, and multifaceted artist.
