Paula Knudsen
Screenwriter
Paula Knudsen is a screenwriter with a degree in Journalism from the University of São Paulo and an MFA (Masters in Fine Arts) in writing for film and television from the University of Southern California as a Fulbright scholar. With 18 years' experience in television and film, she has two projects with International Emmy nominations to her name.
She was co-creator of "Julie and the Ghosts" (2011, Nickelodeon), a series that won the APCA award for best children's program and was nominated for an International Kids Emmy. She wrote the script for the documentary "The Assassination of Jean Charles" (2010), made for Discovery Latin America and nominated for an International Emmy in 2011.
She was the scriptwriter for the series "As Micro Aventuras de Tito e Muda" (2018, Discovery Kids/TV Cultura), "Samantha!" Season 2 (2019, Netflix) and "Spectros" (2020, Netflix). She is the creator and head writer of the series "Sentença" (2022, Amazon) and 'No Mundo da Luna" (2022, Max).
