Luisa Arraes made her debut as an actress and playwright in the play “Queda Livre” (2011), directed by Bernardo Jablonski and Fabiana Valor. The following year she appeared in the play “Sóbrios” (2012), directed by Adam Rapp, and took part in the highly acclaimed “Grande Sertão Veredas” (2017-2019, directed by Bia Lessa), adding to the countless other plays she has appeared in.

He made his television debut in the Globo series “Louco por Elas” (2012), appearing in all three seasons. She has acted in other Globo series such as “Justiça” (2016), a “Fórmula” (2017), “Tá no Ar: a TV na TV” (2018), Mister Brau (2018), starred in one of the episodes of “Amor e Sorte” (2020) and took part in the second season of “Cine Holliúdy” (2022). She acted in the soap operas “Babilônia” (2015) and “Segundo Sol” (2018).

In the movies, she made the features “Irma Vap - O Retorno” (2006, directed by Carla Camurati), “Transe” (2022, directed by Anne Pinheiro Guimarães and Carolina Jabor), “Duetto” (2022, directed by Vicente Amorim) and “B.O.” (2019, directed by Daniel Belmonte and Pedro Cador), among others. He also acted in the upcoming films “O Homem de Ouro” (directed by Mauro Lima), “Grande Sertão” (directed by Guel Arraes) and “O Diabo na Rua no Meio do Redemunho” (directed by Bia Lessa), the latter of which was selected to premiere at the 2023 Rio Film Festival.

He wrote the children's play “Suelen Nara Ian” (2019, directed by Débora Lamm), nominated for the Botequim Cultural Award for Best Text, and directed and produced the short film “Dependências”, winner of the Redentor Trophy for Best Short Film.
