Julia Stockler has a degree in Cinema from PUC-Rio, Theater from UniverCidade, a postgraduate degree in Art and Philosophy from PUC-Rio and is currently an acting teacher at the O Tablado theater school. She won the best actress award at the Zilka Sallaberry Festival (2017) for her play TãoTão (directed by Cacá Mourthé).

She made her television debut in 2014 as one of the main characters in the series “Só Garotas” (Canal Multishow), directed by Maria Flor. In 2019 she starred in the series “Jungle Pilot” (Universal Brasil) and then acted in the series “Os Últimos Dias de Gilda” (2020, Canal Brasil) and “Histórias (Im)possíveis” (2023, Rede Globo). She took part in the soap operas “Éramos Seis” (2020) and “Verdades Secretas” (2021), on Rede Globo, and is currently in the cast of “Beleza Fatal”, to be released by Max.

In cinema, she won best actress awards for her short films: “Sobe Sofia” (2009, directed by André Mielnik), “Gaydar” (2012, directed by Felipe Cabral) and for her scenes in “Cacilda” (2012) and “História de Borboletas” (2013) at FESTU-Rio. She appeared in the feature films “Mate-me Por Favor” (2015, directed by Anita Rocha da Silveira), “Encantados” (2017, directed by Tizuka Yamasaki), “A Vida Invisível” (2019, directed by Karin Ainousz) and “Cozinha” (2023, directed by Johnny Massaro). For her performance in “A Vida Invisível”, Julia won Best Actress at the APCA Awards and at the Valladolid Festival in Spain.
