Screenwriter
Duda de Almeida, from Rio de Janeiro, has a varied background, starting with Industrial Design at PUC-Rio, moving on to Film Directing at Darcy Ribeiro and delving into screenwriting with courses at Columbia University, NY and the Escuela de Cine y TV de San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba.
She is the screenwriter of "Sintonia" (2017), created and directed by KondZilla - the most-watched Brazilian series on Netflix and winner of the Best OTT/Pay TV Series award at the Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix. Duda also directed, scripted and edited "SELF" (2017), an authorial short film shot with a smartphone, which had its world premiere at the 2017 Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival. He was the scriptwriter for the fictional series "Lov3" (2019, Amazon Studios) - winner of best comedy script by the Brazilian Association of Scriptwriters (ABRA); and the documentary series "LEXA: Mostra esse Poder" (2020, Kondzilla and Globoplay).
She also wrote the fiction series "As Aventuras José e Durval" (2020, Globoplay), and is the screenwriter of the film "Angela", about the story of socialite Angela Diniz (2022, Amazon Prime Video).
