International Emmy®-nominated screenwriter Donna develops narratives centered on moral conflicts and power dynamics, with a recurring focus on the evangelical world, crime, family, and contemporary dilemmas from female perspectives.

She is the co-creator of “Habeas Corpus”, Netflix’s first original Brazilian legal drama, inspired by the work of the Innocence Project and scheduled to premiere in 2026. Recently, she joined the writers’ room of “Rauls”, a series set in the world of scams on the outskirts of São Paulo, created by Kaique Alves, Konrad Dantas (KondZilla), and Felipe Braga.

She was a writer on the medical thriller “Sutura” (Prime Video, 2024), selected for the Berlinale Series Market and a finalist for the ABRA Screenwriting Award. She also wrote for the 3rd and 4th seasons of “Sintonia” (Netflix), one of the platform’s biggest hits in Brazil, as well as projects such as “Santo Forte”, “171: Negócio de Família”, “A Garota da Moto”, and “Escola de Gênios”.

In non-fiction, she was head writer of “O Prazer é Meu” (Globoplay, 2024), a documentary series nominated for the 2025 International Emmy® Award in the Documentary category. In independent film, she wrote, directed, and co-produced “A Mensageira”, available on YouTube, and wrote and directed “Reteté”, a short film set in the 1990s within the world of neo-Pentecostal churches, currently in post-production.
