Actress

Mell Muzzillo is an Afro-Indian actress and dancer who has dedicated herself to the arts from a very young age. Born in Nilópolis, in the Baixada Fluminense, Mell is 19 years old and traces her origins to the Tupinambá people of southern Bahia. She started ballet classes at the age of two and, over the years, has also practiced jazz and belly dancing. In 2018, she won first place at the Joinville Dance Festival, the largest dance festival in the world.

At the age of six, Mell began acting classes with actress Zaira Zambelli. She made her television debut in the children's series "Gaby Estrella" (2013-2015, Gloob), where she was part of the supporting cast. In 2023, she appeared in the movie "Eu Sou Maria".

Her career rose to prominence in 2024, when Mell was cast as Ritinha in the remake of the telenovela "Renascer" (2024, Globo), directed by Luiz Fernando Carvalho. The character, daughter of Inácia (Edvana Carvalho) and Chico (Mac Suara), brought representativeness and diversity to Brazilian television, marking an important moment in her career. The opportunity arose during a Globoplay event, where Mell was discovered by one of the soap opera's characterizers, who invited her to audition.

At the moment, Mell is dedicated to an intense routine of recording "Renascer" and her character Ritinha.
