Maurício Sasí

Maurício Sasí is 21 years old and has been involved in the theatrical arts scene in São Paulo since 2015 when he started participating in theater workshops as part of the Mais Educação project at E.E Carlos Gomes in São Miguel Paulista.
The following year, he joined the Filosofia de Coxia company, where they developed the play "Anjo Negro" by Nelson Rodrigues, earning 23 collective awards in student festivals across São Paulo, the coastline, the interior, and Belo Horizonte (MG). Individually, he received the "Best Actor Revelation" award at the Pindamonhangaba festival in 2016.
In 2017, he began his studies at the São Paulo Institute of Science and Technology (IFSP), majoring in Electronics, and participated as technical support in the play "Mestre Vitalino, Artesão de Caruaru." In 2018, he returned to Filosofia de Coxia, taking on roles as an actor, lighting technician, and workshop facilitator. In 2019, they were recipients of the Cultural Initiatives grant with the project "Peripatéticos - Ação no movimento,” focusing on the development of the play 'Édipo Rei” and conducting free workshops for various age groups in the company's space and local state schools. Mauricio also led workshops for young people at E.E Parque Jardim Helena and the company's headquarters during the project's duration. In the same year, the company toured Buenos Aires at the invitation of the VQV festival.
In 2021, Mauricio graduated from the theater technician program at Senac Lapa Scipião, followed by enrolling at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) for a degree in History, believing in the integration of art and history as necessary didactics for the cultural and social development of a people. In 2022, he ventured into the audiovisual realm, taking on the lead role in the film "Escola de Quebrada" (Paramount +) and a supporting role in the series "A História Delas" (Star+). Currently, he is a student of acting at the SP Escola de Teatro.
