Mari Oliveira is an actress, dancer, voice actor and film student with a focus on screenwriting and the search for representation of black women in her work. She created the podcast "Sala 4", in which she debates Cinema and Blackness with art director Carol Meirelles.
On television, she was part of the cast of "Malhação: Seu Lugar no Mundo" (2015, Globo), "Sol Nascente" (2016, Globo) and the series "Baile de Máscaras" (2019, AXN). In streaming, she is in the cast of the series "DNA do Crime" (2023, Netflix), "Dois Tempos" (2023, Star+) and "Impuros" (2019, FOX and Globoplay).
In cinema, the actress acted in the feature film "Mate-me Por Favor" (2015) and became known for starring in the feature film "Medusa" (2021), both directed by Anita Rocha da Silveira - the latter having been selected for the Directors' Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival and awarded best film at the Rio Film Festival in 2021.
The actress is in the feature films yet to be released "Meu Casulo de Drywall", directed by Carol Fioratti.
