Isabel Falcão
Screenwriter
Isabel Falcão is a screenwriter with a degree in Literature from PUC and a master's degree in Literature from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF).
For the theater, she co-authored the plays "Queda Livre" (2011, directed by Bernardo Jablonski and Fabiana Valor) and "Jardim Secreto" (2013), winner of the FITA Award for Best Children's Play, and, together with Karen Acioly, she wrote the text for a children's play that will be released this year. In literature, she was co-editor of the anthology "Ironias do Tempo", the latest book by Luís Fernando Veríssimo.
She began her audiovisual career working as a script intern at Porta dos Fundos in 2013 and as assistant director on "Phone Next Door", a short film that was a finalist in the international competition "Project: Direct", held by YouTube in partnership with the Sundance Film Festival. She was a scriptwriter on the series "Só Se For Amor" (Netflix, 2022) and is currently working in the script room on a new streaming series and developing a feature film, both of which are under wraps.
