Daniel Rocha
Daniel Rocha started studying theater at the age of 15 in extracurricular courses, and at 18 he joined the renowned Theater Research Group directed by Antunes Filho, where he received his theatrical training.
On television, he was part of the cast of "Avenida Brasil" (2011) by João Emanuel Carneiro, where he stood out with the character Roni. In 2013, he received the Quem Award for Revelation for this role and was nominated for the 15th Contigo! TV Award, also in the Revelation of TV category. In addition to this, the actor appeared in numerous Globo soap operas such as "Amor à Vida" (2013), "Império" (2014), "Totalmente Demais" (2015), "A Lei do Amor" (2016), and "Terra e Paixão" (2023).
Daniel is part of the cast of the series "Cidade Proibida" (2017, Dir. Mauro Wilson), portrayed the boxer Popó in Walter Salles and Sérgio Machado's series "Irmãos Freitas" (2019, Space/Prime Video), "Spectros" (2020, Netflix), and "Vale dos Esquecidos" (2022, HBO Max).
In cinema, he acted in feature films such as "Sequestro Relâmpago" (2018, Dir. Tata Amaral), "Eu sou brasileiro" (2019, Dir. Alessandro Barros), "Recife Assombrado" (2019, Dir. George Pereira e Adriano Portela), "A Queda" (2020, Dir. Diego Rocha), "Doutor Gama" (2021, Dir. Jeferson De), "Quem vai ficar com Mário" (2021, Dir. Hsu Chang), and "O Mestre da Fumaça" (2023, André Sigwalt) - winner of the Audience Award for Best Brazilian Fiction at the 49th São Paulo International Film Festival.
In theater, he performed in the play "Frames" (Camila Gama e Sandro Pamponet, 2017).
